Jimmy Springstead, 72, of Hancock, NY, died on Monday, May 22, 2017, at home. He was born on July 28, 1944 in Paterson, NJ, the son of Lewis and Charolette (Fullerton) Springstead. Jimmy was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed being in the company of his family and friends, being in the garden or down by the river. Surviving are 2 sons, John J. Springstead and fiance Elizabeth, and Martin Springstead and wife Disa, their mother, Noreen Springstead, and 3 grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan, and Aubree. He is also survived by 1 sister, Charolette and husband David Comley, 1 brother, Lewis Springstead, 1 sister in law, Abby Springstead, 1 brother in law, Dave Sotelo, and several nieces and nephews. Jimmy was predeceased by 1 sister, Joyce Sotelo, 1 brother, Richard Springstead, and his parents. Services will be held at a later date to be announced.
