Joan Marie (Johnson) Musso, 80, of Long Eddy, NY, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA, after a short illness. She was born on April 4, 1936 in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Russell and Berneice (Watson) Johnson. Joan married Pasquale Musso on October 11, 1957 and he predeceased her on February 5, 2010.Joan was an avid Yankee fan and loved softball and baseball and especially loved watching her kids and grandkids play. She enjoyed bingo, trips to the casino, and all family gatherings. Joan was the back bone for her entire family will be remembered for her never ending strength. Surviving are 6 children, Pasquale Jr., and partner Penny Hadley, Steven and wife Angela Musso, Daryl and husband Walt Tesseyman, Beth Kenyon, Pam and husband Scott Dillon, and Shawn Musso, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by a son, Mark Musso, 2 grandchildren, Jared Kenyon and Julia Musso, 1 great granddaughter, Jacquelyn Gries, 3 brothers, Bob, Ralph, and Al Johnson, and 1 sister, Jackie Dorchester. There will be 1 hour for visitation on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 10-11AM followed by a memorial service at 11AM, all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
