Joseph W. Zazeckie Jr., 67, of Hancock, NY, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Canada. He was born on March 22, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Joseph Sr. and Anita Zazeckie.

Joe was a retired bus driver. He loved to travel especially to Canada, FL, and St. Maarten. He enjoyed all social gatherings and eating out with family and friends. Joe liked hunting and pyrotechnics but above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who he spent a lot of time with.

Surviving are his wife, Stacey Caruso; 5 children: Christopher Winchell, Derrek (Amber Ropert), Cheyenne, Joseph III (Paige), and Axel Zazeckie; 5 grandchildren: Gage, Spencer, Isabella, Sophia and Payton; 1 brother, William (Tammy) Zazeckie; nieces and nephews: Caley, Alexandra, Canon, Kayden, Rachel, Willa, and Sophia Zazeckie; and the mother of his children, Odette Winchell.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1PM-4PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
