Karan Vetrone-Smith, 66, of Hancock, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center, after a short illness. She was born on July 3, 1954 in Hancock, the daughter of Patsy and M. Catherine (Carner) Vetrone. Karan graduated from Hancock Central School in 1972 and went on to graduate from Cazenovia in 1974. Surviving are her brother, Paul and wife Connie Vetrone, 1 niece, Kimberly and husband Jason Mead, 1 great niece, Leigha Mead, her dog Shipat, and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Joe Smith and her niece, Nicole Vetrone. Cremation will take place and no services will be held. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
