Katherine Marie Torch, 88, of Hancock, NY, died on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Delhi Nursing Home after a short illness. She was born on September 13, 1931 in Hancock, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Burcavage) Wormuth. Surviving are 2 daughters, Toni Spencer and Terri (Ryan) Goodrich, 4 grandchildren, Misty, Bradley, Garrett, and David, and 1 great grandson, Finnley. She is also survived by 7 siblings, Alice Dolph, Francis Wormuth, Shirley Wormuth, Kenneth Wormuth, Patricia Froehlich, Carolyn Schoonmaker, and Richard Wormuth, many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her son, Stephen Whitmore, and 4 brothers, Donald, Ivan, Leonard, and David Wormuth, and 1 sister, Linda Wormuth. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery at the convenience of Maries family. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
