Kenneth R. Wormuth, 87, of Hancock, NY, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in his home. He was born on October 25, 1938 in the same home, the son of Donald and Mary Wormuth.

Ken was a simple man who worked hard his whole life. He enjoyed golfing and bowling but his favorite pastime was fishing.

Surviving are 2 children, Wayne (Kelly) Wormuth and Laura (Samuel Jr.) Rowe; 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Nathan (Echo), and Wayne Wormuth, Desari (Kyle) Maurer, Carmen Rowe, and Shelby (Theodore) Iramescu; and many beloved great grandchildren. Ken is also survived by his siblings: Richard Wormuth, Shirley Quick, Patricia Froehlich, and Carolyn Schoonmaker; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his best friend and mother of his children, Marian (Ann) Wormuth; son, James Allen Wormuth; grandson, Samuel Rowe III; 3 sisters, Alice Dolph, Linda Wormuth, and Marie Torch; and 5 brothers: Francis, Donald, Ivan, David, and Leonard Wormuth.

In accordance with Ken’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock.
