Kurt Matthew Niles, 54, of Hancock, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, September 6, 2019 at home. Kurt grew up in Deposit, NY, and graduated from Deposit Central High School. He worked at Coca Cola and Canada Dry in Binghamton, NY, and then worked in the construction industry for the rest of his life. Kurt enjoyed sports, especially Yankees baseball and Chicago Bears football. He also loved 80s music and anything Star Trek. Most of all, he loved being helpful to people and animals. He will be dearly missed by all. Surviving are the love of his life and fiance, Martha (Mardi) Conkling, 1 sister, Darla and husband Charles Conrad, 1 brother, Eric and wife Pamela Niles, aunt, Dorothy Hamlin, niece Tender Murphy, nephew, Joseph Murphy, and many cousins. Kurt was a great uncle to Brooke, Brittany, and Dameon Murphy, Isabella Hubbs, Zoey Murphy, Marisa Kelly, Christian Lupole, and Liam Post. He was predeceased by his parents, Melbourne E. and Lois I.
