Linda L. Blinn, 69, of Yardville, New Jersey passed away on November 15th, 2016 in Hamilton, New Jersey after a battle with cancer.Linda was born in Hancock, New York on March 18th, 1947 to the late Lamar and Lucy (Cappiello) Burden. She attended and graduated from Hancock Central School and was employed for most of her career in the clerical field. She retired from the New Jersey State Department of Labor in 2015. Linda enjoyed spending time with family, and especially enjoyed spending time with her special group of friends, Pat's Angels. Linda was predeceased by her husband, Samuel A. Blinn in 1984 and a daughter, Samantha, in 1985. Linda was also predeceased by her brother, Edward Burden of Hancock, NY in 2010.Linda is survived by her son, Timothy Blinn of Binghamton, NY, her brother and sister-in-law, James and Marge Burden of Lakewood, PA, her niece, Kristin Burden and her nephew, Andrew Burden, both of Lakewood, PA. Linda is also survived by her aunt, Katherine Cappiello and spouse Barbara Pearson of Yardville, NJ, her aunt, Myra Cappiello of Jersey Shore, PA, a granddaughter, Riley Ziemba of Binghamton, NY and many beloved cousins. Linda will be dearly missed by family and friends.A graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, NY on Saturday, December 3rd at 11 am. There will be a gathering immediately after at the American Legion Hall in Hancock, NY.
