Linda E. Wormuth, 67, of Hancock, NY, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 at Roscoe Nursing Home. She was born on December 3, 1949, in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Burcavage) Wormuth. Linda was a hard worker her entire life, working in stone quarries and factory jobs. Linda loved fishing, reading, and watching television with the family. Surviving are her son, Raymond Springer, daughter, Kimberely Wormuth, and her step daughter, Mary Springer Sampson, and 2 granddaughers, Shian Bolster and Bryanna Vandermark. She is also survived by 9 siblings, Alice Dolph, Francis Wormuth, Marie Torch, Shirley Quick, Kenneth Wormuth, David Wormuth, Patricia Froehlich, Carolyn Schoonmaker, and Richard Wormuth, and many nieces and nephews as well as friends. Linda was predeceased by her parents, and 3 brothers, Donald (Ducky), Ivan, and Leonard Wormuth.
