Lottie Urban, 90, of Lake Como, PA, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, PA. She was born on December 3, 1925, in Lake Como, PA, the daughter of Joseph and Michalyna (Talalay) Tarabulski. She married Theodore Urban on February 3, 1951 in St. Juliana's Roman Catholic Church, Rock Lake, PA, and he predeceased her on December 17, 2002. Lottie was a lifelong member of St. Juliana's Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved to cook and bake, and often times, prepared meals for community functions. In her later years, Lottie took part in the sewing circle that gathered at the Northern Wayne Library, where she enjoyed her time with friends. Surviving are 2 daughters, Jean and husband Bill Simon, and Joan and husband Harold Roney, 1 sister, Sophie Wisnewski, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 sisters, Mary, Anne, Betty, Helen, Estelle, and Theresa, and 1 brother, Joseph. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 5-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10AM at St. Juliana's Roman Catholic Church, Rock Lake, PA.
