Louise Dora Davis Hallstead passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at home. She was born on May 20, 1929 in Blooming Grove, NY. She married Gerald Hallstead on September 23, 1961 and he predeceased her in 2003.Louise leaves behind 3 daughters, Gloria, Patty, and Sarah, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also leaves 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 sister in laws, 1 brother in law, and several nieces and nephews. Louise worked many years at Bard Parker. After retiring, she worked at the old Circle E Diner and also drove for Senior Meals. After caring for her husband for many years, she went to work at the Capra Laundry and then the Capra Hotel. She then worked for the Green Thumb Program at the NYS DOT in Hancock for several years and finally worked at the Hancock McDonalds until retiring in December 2016.Louise made many friends at all her various jobs and she will be missed. There will be no services held as per Louises request.
