Marcia Ann (Peckham) Leab, 54, of Oneonta, NY, originally from Hancock, NY, died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY, after a long illness. She was born on September 16, 1966 in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Grant M. and Beatrice (Frosch) Peckham. Marcia graduated from Hancock Central School in 1984 and then from Binghamton University in 1988. In her high school years she played basketball and softball. She spent many years living in Oneonta, NY, and her last years in Cooperstown, NY. She enjoyed playing pool and socializing with her many friends. Surviving are 2 brothers, Grant H. (Janine) Peckham, and Fred and companion, Cheryl Korotky, 2 nephews, Richard and Steven Peckham, several cousins, and several close friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 11AM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock, NY, in the spring.
