Margaret J. Todd, 71, of Hankins, NY, died on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Westchester Medical Center, after a short illness. She was born on August 2, 1950 in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Raymond and Margaret (Coddington) Johnson. Peggy was a free spirit and she lived her life the way she wanted. Being outside was something she really enjoyed. She worked in many different restaurants over the years as a cook and waitress and she met many people along the way. Surviving are 3 children, Kurt and wife Cathy Todd, Keith Todd, and Kimberly and husband Aaron Ostrander; 5 grandchildren: Skyler and Destiny Shaffer, Castin and Makiryn Ostrander, and Devin Todd; 3 great grandchildren: Andrew Zimar Jr., and Dawson and Ledger Dufton; and a great grandchild expected in September. Peggy is also survived by 2 sisters, Connie Shea and Brenda Hornbeck; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Raymond and Dale Johnson and 5 sisters: Linda Porter, Elizabeth (Betty) Brush, Rosalie Gillow, Angela Johnson, and Ruby Johnson. Cremation took place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
