Maria A. Barnklau, 74, of Starlight, PA, died on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. She was born on October 1, 1939 in Germany, the daughter of Conrad and Anna Bucher. Maria was a member of the Emory United Methodist Church, Hancock, as well as the United Methodist Women, and participated in the Craft Guild. She married Richard Barnklau on May 28, 1960 in Queens, NY. She will be remembered as a loving mother. Surviving are her husband, Richard, 2 sons, Karl and Gary, and 1 brother, Conrad Bucher. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 3-5PM, and the funeral service will be at 6PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
