Maria C. Wahl, 93, of Hancock, NY, died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, after a short illness. She was born on August 27, 1925 in Hancock, the daughter of Carl and Filomena Possemato. She married Clarence George Wahl and he predeceased her. Maria was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Hancock, NY. Surviving are 1 daughter, Georgeana Wahl, 1 son, Clarence G. Wahl, 2 grandsons, Arness and Joseph Wahl, 1 great grandson, Philip Wahl, 2 brothers, Anthony and Carl Possemato and many nieces and nephews. She was predecesed by a daughter, Ann Maria Wahl, a son, Stephen Wahl, 3 sisters, Irene, Margaret, and Theresa, and 3 brothers, Marco, Rocco, and Pasquale. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Hancock. Burial will follow in St. Pauls Cemetery, Hancock.
