Marie M. Gales, 83, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 after a long illness at her home in Starlight, PA. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years Robert and brothers, Frank and Leonard Brunner. She is survived by her children Michael, Colleen, and Matthew and their spouses, 5 grandchildren: Joe, Brady, Cassie, Natalie, and Renee, 3 sisters, Kathryn Durbeck, Anna Nanni, and Margaret Brunner, and several nieces and nephews. She was a retired registered nurse who worked at several hospitals in and around the surrounding area. The family will receive friends at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock, NY on Thursday August 26th from 5-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pauls Roman Catholic Church in Hancock on Friday, August 27th at noon. Burial will be in St. Pauls Cemetery.
