Marris "Mike" Dufton, 85, of Cadosia, NY, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, NY. He was born on October 4, 1930 in Hancock, the son of Floyd and Dora (Wood) Dufton. Mike married Myrna Somers on December 3, 1954 in Hancock and she predeceased him on August 20, 1988. One of Mike's favorite pastimes was golfing.Surviving are 2 children, Mona McDonald and Mike Dufton Jr., 7 grandchildren, Michael Dufton, Jason Dufton, Shalene Mack, Richelle Dufton, Cole Dufton, and Chelsea and Jack McDonald, and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister, Gloria Wormuth, many nieces and nephews, and long time friend and golfing buddy, Bob Dennis. Mike was predeceased by 11 siblings. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 11-1 with a funeral following at 1PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock.
