Martin was the son of Charles T. Heesh, whom predeceased him in Dec. of 2001 and Adeline Heesh (Zologa) of Lake Como, Pa. Martin grew up on the Heesh farm along with his four brothers Charles (Karen) Heesh, Edward Heesh, Donnie Heesh and David Heesh and sister Debra Jerrold-Jones (Heesh).
Martin was a 1973 graduate of Hancock High School, after which he joined the United States Navy and traveled the world climbing the ranks to Machinist Mate First Class. He retired after 22 years in the Navy and followed an interest in the up and coming computer technology. He received many certificates for computer technology, but most friends would remember his networking of computers for Doom matches in his computer room. Later when he retired back to the Heesh farm in Lake Como he continued his computer work and found a passion for DJing, as DJ Marty. He played for many people within our community and even many surrounding areas. He enjoyed seeing people have a good time together, making friends, mingling, telling stories, and making new memories.
His family will be making arrangements to have a celebration of life gathering at a later date. Martin requested to not have any funeral services, just that his family is to spread his ashes on the family farm.
Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
