Mary K. Van Dien, 97, a resident of Equinunk, PA, for 32 years, died on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Ellen Memorial Nursing Home, Honesdale, PA, after a short illness. She was born on October 1, 1922 in Co. Longford, Ireland, the daughter of Patrick and Mary Ann (Brady) Doyle. Mary married Russell Van Dien in 1976 and he predeceased her on January 1, 1988. She was a member of St. Pauls Church in Hancock, NY, for over 35 years. Surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, in Ireland, England, and the U.S. She was predeceased by all of her siblings, Patrick, Rosann, Brian, Francis, and Thomas Doyle. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Hancock. Interment will follow in Stockport Cemetery, Equinunk, PA.
