Mary Keesler, 61, of Hancock, NY, died on Thursday, November 19th, 2015 at home. She was born on March 2nd, 1954, in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Pease) Wignall.Mary married Joel R. Keesler. She was a member of the Hancock Fireman's Auxiliary.Surviving are husband, Joel, 3 children, Gregory A. Keesler, Melissa and husband Ward Dunlap, and Daniel A. Keesler, 3 grandchildren, Nick and wife Anastasia Dunlap, Sierra Keesler, and Hope Dunlap, and 1 great grandson, who was her best friend, Joshua Thomas Dunlap, all of Hancock, NY. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Dot Wignall, Seaford, NY, Frances DeRocker, Harrison, NJ, and Diann and husband Al VanLouvender, Moosic, PA, 1 brother, Joseph Wignall, many nieces and nephews, and her special dog, Shadow. Mary was predeceased by her parents, and 2 brothers, Thomas Jr., and William H. Wignall. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 28th, 2015 at 12PM, in the East Branch Cemetery, East Branch, NY. A luncheon will follow in the Hancock Fireman's Clubrooms, provided by the Hancock Fireman's Auxiliary. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Mary's memory to the Hancock Fireman's Auxiliary.
