Mary Paduch, 91, of Lake Como, PA, died on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA, after a short illness. She was born on August 30, 1926 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Michael and Malanka (Klym) Feduck. Mary married Joseph Paduch on September 9, 1943 and he predeceased her on January 10, 1977. Mary was a lifetime member of the St. Peter and Pauls Russian Orthodox Church in Union Dale, PA. She spent most of her life being the caretaker of the family. Mary always had a positive attitude and no matter where she went, you could find her talking to everyone along the way. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and Mary was a great cook. Surviving are 1 daughter, Mary Ann Keefer and husband Charles, 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Woolridge, Kathryn Keefer, and Stephen Papp, 4 great grandchildren, Amanda Paduch, Katie Woolridge, and Julian and Matias Miravalle and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Paduch, her daughter, Barbara Papp, her grandson, Charles Michael Keefer, her brother, Peter Feduck, and her sister, Ann Hyer. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 4-7 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A funeral will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11AM at the St. Peter and Pauls Russian Orthodox Church, Union Dale, PA.
