Michael Maurice Salvatore, beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend, passed away at Wilson Hospital on May 2, 2022, at age 57. Michael, fondly referred to as "Mikie" was born November 17, 1964, to Michael and Teresa (Gorton) Salvatore. He graduated from Hancock Central School in 1983. He worked most of his life at construction sites, until a debilitating accident in 2012. Much of his time spent after that was his love for "building things" tinkering around with anything with a motor, and fishing. He was happiest when he could be enjoying the outdoors, (until the winter came) or eating moms Italian cooking! He will be remembered most for his infectious personality, his ability to make you laugh until your face hurt, his quick wit and his wonderful sense of humor. (He could always make you smile!) Mikie is survived by his father, Mike Salvatore, Sr., mother, Teresa Davis, sisters: Denise Salvatore and Deana(Charles) Nead, his children Kyle Tarantini and Angelina Salvatore, nephews, Samuel and Paul Salvatore.
