Michael K. Vernold, 60, of East Branch, died unexpectedly on April 15, 2014 at home. He was born on August 21, 1953 in Roscoe, NY, the son of William and Betty (Charles) Vernold. Mike led a simple life and was very kind hearted and generous. He liked woodworking and had the ability to make just about anything. Mike also liked NASCAR. Surviving are 2 brothers, Jack and wife Julie, and Jerry, and 4 nephews, Timothy (Desiree), William (Jacqueline), Joshua (Alyssa), and Justin. He was predeceased by both his mother and father. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11AM in the East Branch Cemetery, East Branch, NY.
