Muriel Jean Swartwout Milk, 84, passed away at Roscoe Nursing Home on March 1, 2018, unexpectedly. She was born on February 7, 1934 to Edward (Ned) and Dorothy Swartwout. Muriel married Dewayne (Bucky) Milk on December 27, 1952 and he predeceased her in 2015. They settled on the family farm in Goulds. Muriel dedicated her life to her family as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed raising her family, baking, and visiting with others. Surviving are her children, daughter, Beth and husband Paul Johnson, son, Edward Milk Sr., son, Scott and wife Ruby Milk, and daughter, Dawn and husband Vern Buchanan, and many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Muriel is also survived by her brother, Dennis Swartwout, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Louise Martin, and 2 brothers, William and Gerald Swartwout. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 2-4:30 followed by a memorial service at 4:30 all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
