Myrtle Elizabeth Green (MEG) Wahl went to be with our Lord on November 2, 2016, after a long illness. Born November 8, 1933, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Green, of Scranton, PA. Meg relocated to Winterdale, PA, and became a resident of Hancock, when she married. A respected member of Hancock, Meg was the co-owner of Doug's Plant Place, and was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hancock - Elder and Clerk of Session, and a member of the choir. She was an active member of Rotary. Meg was a long time member of the Cadosia Valley Gun Club, serving as the Secretary for 60 years.Meg was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, C. Douglas Wahl, her daughter, Karen and husband George Klinegardner, her infant son Carlton D. Wahl Jr., four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three siblings, Virginia Snyder, Marjorie Pascavage, and John Edward Green. Mrs. Wahl is survived by daughters, ElizaBeth and husband Glenn McIntyre, Deborah and husband Terry West, Penny Lee Corns, Michelle and husband Jeff Cutting, D. Scott Wahl and wife Carol. She leaves behind three sisters: Irene Watkins, Rosie May Frisbee, and Lorraine Stiffey. She was a beloved grandmother to 21 grandchildren and spouses, and 27 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 5-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
