Nancy Kershaw Holpert, 67, of Starlight,PA, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 with her children by her side. Nancy was born on November 22, 1954 to Ann Sadlon and John Kershaw in Newark, NJ.
After graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1972 she worked for Bell Atlantic phone company for many years. Fresh out of highschool she married her best friend and soulmate Joseph Holpert. The two traveled the states for over 10 years, purchased land at the young age of 23, and simply enjoyed each others company before settling down and having their 2 daughters Brianne and Brittney Holpert.
After raising the girls in NJ Nancy followed her dreams of building her own home did just that and moved to the country to live the "simple life." Nancy loved everything outdoors and would rather pitch a tent than check into a hotel room. A true patriot she loved her country. Nancy also enjoyed riding her Harley, traveling, baking, cooking, gardening, and just being with those she loved most. She especially loved her granddaughters, Remington and Reagan MacDowall. They were her pride and joy. She found family at Buckingham Baptist Church and that's where you could find her on Sunday mornings.
Nancy fully enjoyed her life and anyone who knew Nancy knew that she was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, Aunt, friend, and sibling a family could ask for. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Besides her husband, daughters, and granddaughters, also surviving are 2 sisters, Judy and husband Al Gesario and Constance Kershaw; brother in law, Rick Fisher; and nieces and nephews: Amanda, Matt, Dianna, Laura, and Michael. Nancy was predeceased by her parents; nephew, Daniel Fisher; and sister, Joan Kershaw Fisher.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
