Neil Larue Botsford, 87, of Fishs Eddy, NY, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at home after an illness. He was born in McNett, PA, the son of Earl M. Botsford and Emily (Tubbs) Botsford. Neil graduated from Kerhonkson High School, Kerhonkson, NY.

Neil married Louise S. Worzel on July 13, 1968. He was a Lumber Grader and worked in most of the lumber mills around including Vitale, Mallery, Bass, and McGraws.

Survived by loving wife, Louise; sons, Duane Robert and Daniel Scott; and granddaughter, who was the shining light of his life, Isabella Louise Botsford; and many nieces and nephews.

Neil was predeceased by his parents, Earl M. Botsford and Emily (Tubbs) Botsford; In-laws, Oscar G. Worzel and Julia M. (Brinkman) Worzel; 2 brothers, Milton (Dorothy) and Duane (Thelma); 6 sisters: Charlotte, Faye Hanstine (William), Jane Fritz (Raymond), Mary Bruna (John), Flora Hoag (Kenneth), Sally Rose (Sonny); niece, Janet Bruno; 2 nephews, Lloyd Botsford and Donald Fritz; and brother in law, Edwin H. Worzel.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from 1- 4PM at the American Legion Hall, Hancock, NY.
