Nicholas J. Bambino, 61, of Hancock, formerly of Long Island, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2014 at home. He was born on May 22, 1952 in Manhattan, the son of Nicholas W. and Margaret Bambino. Nick loved camping, the woods, and to just simply be outdoors.Surviving are companion, Patricia Sprague and her 2 children, Sadie Sprague-Siegel, and Patrick Sprague, 3 sisters, Jo-Ann Marzocchi, Karen Gold, and Lori Bambino Gelston, and nieces and nephews, Kelly and Thomas Marzocchi, Sam and Theresa Gold, and Christian Gelston. Nick was predeceased by his parents.Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 11-1 with a service following at 1 all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Cremation will follow.
