IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Olive
Faigle
April 22, 1925 – April 18, 2024
Olive Jane "Pussy" Holbert Faigle, born on April 22, 1925, peacefully passed away at the age of 98 on April 18, 2024, at Barnes & Kasson Hospital, surrounded by love.
Olive was married to Herbert Lawrence "Larry" Faigle for 82 wonderful years. She is survived by Larry, their children Wayne Faigle and his wife Deborah "Mina" Faigle, and Sandra Zaczek and her husband John Zaczek. Olive is also survived by her brother-in-law Charles Phillip Faigle, and sisters-in-law Adah Taylor and Mary Williams. Also survived are five grandchildren: Kellie Lee (Don Lee), Jason Faigle (Valerie Faigle), Gwendolyn Faigle (Wally Pilger), Todd Zaczek (Brinda), and Corinne Bermon (Matthew Bermon). Additionally, Olive is survived by six great-grandchildren- Karissa, Kalianna, Karaya, Gavin, Zophiel, and Leah, as well as two great-great-grandchildren, Emma and Zachary.
Olive waitressed at a local restaurant, was a real estate agent, and later helped Larry run their well-drilling business, managing the office until their retirement. Olive cherished her time with family and had a passion for knitting and crocheting. Each year, she lovingly handmade sweaters for her grandchildren's first days of school. Olive and Larry shared a love for traveling the country, and Larry fondly remembers, "She was always beautiful, and we had a very joyful life together."
Her surviving family members will remember Olive as a fiery, spunky-spirited woman. They will cherish the memories and conversations they have been blessed to share with her for so many years.
Olive's wishes were for cremation and burial will be at a later time in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock.
Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
