Pearl Anna "Annie" Davis (Stanton), 43, of Hancock NY passed away in her home on June 2, 2015. Pearl was predeceased by her father-in-law Kendall W. Davis Sr. and her granddaughter Layla Pearl.She was born in Deposit, NY on January 14, 1972 to Douglas R. Stanton Sr. and Judith A. Stanton. She graduated from Deposit High School in 1990. After her first date with Kendall W. Davis Jr, whichconsisted of babysitting her niece Samantha Stanton, they knew they were meant to be and they married on August 26, 1990. While married she worked full time, had three children, and went to school full time to attain her LPN nursing license. She reached her goal of becoming a nurse in January of 2001.Kendall wrote on Facebook June 2, 2015 at 10:29AM"I have lost my soulmate. We were together for over 25 years. Don't feel bad for me I was lucky and privileged to be with the most compassionate, smart, beautiful and strongest woman that I have evermet. She chose me and to this day I still don't know why. She also gave me three of the smartest, most beautiful girls. It's them I feel bad for and my granddaughters who where cheated out of her warmth and kindness. Pearl A. Davis I will miss you but never will you leave my heart. Thank you for choosing me and making me the man I am."She is survived by her husband Kendall; her three daughters Brianna (Lewis), Elayne and Kaysi Davis; her three granddaughters Giana, Giuliana and Journey; her parents Judith and Douglas; her siblings and their spouses Sheila Stanton, Connie Stanton, Richard Stanton (Judy),Marcia Barnhart (Jim), and Douglas Stanton Jr.(Iris); her second family Carolyn Davis (Mother-in-law), Linda Davis (Stephen Hopkins), Brian Davis (Sandra), Carolyn Restaino (Albert) and Gina Hood (Toby), a special niece whom Pearl looked at as a daughter, Kayla; also, by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.We have lost a very beautiful, compassionate, smart, and strong woman who will be missed by so many people whose lives she has touched. A viewing was held at Henderson-Biedekapp in Hancock, NY on June 5, 2015.
