Roberta J. Winters, 83, of Hancock, NY, formerly of Suffern, NY, died on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Wilson Medical Center, after a short illness. She was born on July 17, 1934 in Middletown, NY, the daughter of Forest and Ruth Geer. Bertie married Richard F. Winters and he predeceased her on August 15, 2011. She retired from Shop Rite in Tallman, NY, after 30 years as a meat wrapper. Surviving are 1 son, Richard D. and wife Dawn Winters, 4 grandchildren, Kaylee and Jacob WInters, Roberta Jean Graffeo, and Charles Richard Ghosio, 4 siblings, David Geer, Edward Geer, Helen Doolittle, and James Geer, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation took place and there will be a remembrance gathering of Robertas life on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 1PM-3PM at the Little Italy Italian Restaurant, Hancock.
