Roger J. Gilbertson, 52, of Oneonta, NY, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at home. He was born on November 29, 1969 in Oneonta, NY, the son of Roger J. Dean and Penelope Mullinnex. Roger was a hard worker as a landscaper in his earlier years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his mother, Penny Darling (Ted); 1 son, Christopher Gilbertson; 2 brothers, Richard Carmen and Eric Gilbertson; nephew, Austin Gilbertson; niece, McKenna Gilbertson; 2 step brothers and 1 step sister. He was predeceased by his father and his sister, Denise Mullinnex. A celebration of Rogers life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
