Rosalie M. Roney, 93, a resident of Ellen Memorial Health Center and former resident of Preston, Park, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born on May 17, 1924 in Preston Park, PA, the daughter of Clarence and Ida (Rivenburg) Roney. She was a loving aunt who enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Rosie was a member of the Lake Como United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister in law, Rose Roney, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Bessie Wildenstein and Lila Hauenstein, and three brothers, Archie, Leon, and Russel Roney. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, from 10AM-11AM followed by a funeral service at 11AM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock. The family would like to thank Dr. Dewar, the staff at Ellen Memorial, Julie Satre, Betty Mead, and Mary Fuller for the loving care they showed Aunt Rosie.
