Scott Michael Bennett, 34, of Hancock, NY, died on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was born on May 1, 1986 in Johnson City, NY, the son of William Scott Bennett and Susan (Taylor) Bennett. Scotty loved fishing, baseball, and football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed his friends and being outside. Surviving are his parents, his sister and best friend, Stephanie Bennett, 3 uncles, Kevin and Debra Bennett, Pat Taylor, and Robert Taylor Jr., 2 great aunts, Peggy and Tony Possemato, and Joyce and John Konyk, and several cousins. Scotty was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Bennett, and his maternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Elizabeth Taylor.
