Shalayne L. Sherwood, 35, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Fairview Recovery Center, Binghamton, NY. She was born on July 15, 1983 in Johnson City, NY, the daughter of Wesley and Roxanne (Rockwell) Sherwood. Shay loved music and good movies but most of all, she loved her children and being with family. Surviving are her 3 children, Mariah Eldred, Kassidy Fredrick, and Caleb Hanrahan, 3 sisters, Christine Wormuth Haskins, Leanne Wormuth Gillette, and Lesley Jensen Greene, her parents Wesley and Roxanne, nieces and nephews, Cody Wormuth, Jordan Dufton, Sean Dufton, Kayden Dufton, Mavrick Dufton, and Shayne and Tyler Gransbury, great aunt, Kathy Jones, companion, Scott Hanrahan, and his mother, Kelly Hanrahan, who was like a second mother to Shalayne. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 12PM-2PM with a memorial service following at 2PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
