Sharon Hadley, 71, of Lakewood, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, November 20th. She was at home, surrounded by her family. Sharon was a Child of God, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and teacher.
Sharon was born to Ruth and Charles (Bud) Frederick. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 52 years, Stan Hadley. Together, they built their home in Lakewood where they raised their 2 daughters, Sara Flynn (Brandon) and Andrea Swartz (Ed). Sharon loved being "Nanny" to her 9 grandchildren Ana, Marisol, Joel, Isaac, Eliza, Lucas, Abigail, Noah, and Caleb. As much as she loved her family and friends, Sharons most important relationship was with her Heavenly Father.
Sharon was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, her church, and her community. Her faith grew throughout her life and was central to who she was. She spent time gardening, reading, sewing, teaching, and serving. She was a teacher whose mission was to inspire a love of reading in her students.
Sharon is survived by her sisters Carol Homer and Anne (Cary) Warnott; and sister-in-law, Kris Frederick, wife of Sharons brother, the late Owen Frederick.
