Sherry A. Wormuth died on Monday, October 16, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 28, 1954 in Hancock, NY, the daughter of Harold and Carolyn Noble.

Sherry married Maurice Wormuth on May 27, 1972 in Hancock. She worked many years at the Starlight Inn and McDonalds. She loved ocean cruises, gambling, and she especially loved her family.

Surviving are her husband, Maurice, and 2 sons, William and Maurice Jr. (Danielle); six grandchildren: Carter, Ammon, Luke, BreAnne, Emma, and Mary. Sherry is also survived by nine siblings: Linda Watkins, Ruthann Pepson, Raymond (Marion) Noble, Deborah (Francis) Vanloan, Harold (Linda) Noble, Danny Noble, Wayne (Rae Ann), Vicki Giangrant, and John Giangrant; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a nephew, Dylan Noble.

A celebration of Sherry's life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 3PM-7PM at the Hancock American Legion Post 289, 210 Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, NY, 13783.
