Obituary

Stanley A. DeGraw, 59, of Hancock, NY, died on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, after a short illness. He was born on May 22, 1960 in Goshen, NY, the son of Ralph and Shirley DeGraw. Stan married Donna Smith on February 14, 1980. He enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his grandchildren, especially riding their ATVs. He was the kind of man who would help anyone. Surviving are his wife, Donna, 2 daughters, Victoria Young and Marie Carlton, 5 grandchildren, Alissa Young, Nathaniel Smothers, Zander Wahl, and Brianna and Donna Carlton. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Marjorie Culbert, Lori Smith, and Alice DeGraw, 1 brother, William DeGraw, and many nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his parents, siblings, Ralph DeGraw, Wanda Rodgers, Diane DeGraw, Judy Springer, and Robert DeGraw, and granddaughter, Andie Lynn Johnson. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 5-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 12PM, also at the funeral chapel, with Father Daniel Quinn officiating.
