IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stanley J.
Giza
June 19, 1963 – July 20, 2025
With immense heaviness in our hearts, we share that Stanley John Giza Jr., 62, peacefully went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 20th, 2025.
Stanley "Stan" was born on June 19, 1963, and he was the oldest of 5 children. Stan was beloved beyond words by all of his family and all of his dear friends. He was a devoted and treasured Son, Brother, Father, and Uncle. He loved with all of his heart, and those who knew him know that he never met a stranger. Stan always encouraged those around him to smile, laugh, learn more, try harder, and grow stronger. He followed his dreams, and he lived each day to the fullest. If there was an obstacle, his strong Faith in God would get him through it.
Stan graduated from Coughlin High School in 1981, and later graduated on the Dean's List with a B.S. in Biology from Wilkes University. He began his teaching career at an inner-city school in Washington D.C. He later moved to Florida where his parents had settled, and taught at Orange County Schools in Orlando and then spent his later years teaching at Bronson Middle-High School in Bronson. He was loved by his students and his co-workers. Stan was an exceptional drummer and guitarist. He was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he played in the worship band and dedicated his time helping with the youth group band. Stan loved both restoring and driving classic cars and motorcycles. He loved antiques, and restoring homes. He always found time to do what he loved.
Stan was an outstanding musician, an amazing and dedicated teacher, an inspirational mentor, a helper to anyone in need, and a friend to many. He touched countless lives by showing the example of God's love to others, as he traveled through this journey of life.
Stan is survived by his parents Stanley John Giza Sr. and Jill Rose Talmadge Giza; his siblings Christopher John Giza, Brenda Lynn Giza LaBar, Laura Ann Giza Roskey, and Jason Anthony Giza; his former wife Jennifer Nyman Giza; his beloved son Stanley "Stash" Nyman Giza; and his beloved nieces and nephews: Rachel, Rebecca, Fayth, Josh, Denasia, Amber, and Jaiden.
In loving memory of Stan, please make the time to attend a Bible-based church in your local area.
Services and burial were held privately for Stan's immediate family.
Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock, NY.
