Theresa Spencer, 91, of Lake Como, died on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart, PA. She was born on July 7, 1922 in Lake Como, the daughter of Joseph and Michelana Tarabulski. Theresa worked at Block and Hexter Vacation Center for 30 years. She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and worked many years at the Rock Lake Picnic. Theresa was married to Calvin Spencer and he predeceased her on February 3, 1992. Surviving are a son, David Spencer, Jackson, PA, 2 sisters, Sophie Wisniewski, and Lottie Urban, and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by siblings, Mary, Anne, Betty, Helen, Estelle, and Joseph. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 7-9 at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. There will also be 1 hour for visitation on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 10-11 with a service following at 11 all at the Lakeview Mennonite Church, 1323 Lakeview Rd, Susquehanna, PA, 18847. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Pleasant Mount, PA. Memorial donations can be made to the Northern Wayne Fire Dept.
