Thomas D. Rosengrant, 70, of Fishs Eddy, NY, died on December 18, 2014 at home, after a tough battle with cancer. He was born on August 15, 1944 in Callicoon, NY, the son of Harley and Verona (McCumber) Rosengrant. Tom married Elizabeth Andersen on September 14, 1968 in Hancock, NY. He was a loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great grandfather who can be remembered as a quiet, caring man. Tom loved old western movies and he loved to hunt and fish. He worked as a custodian at Hancock Central School for 26 years and was a member of the American Legion.Surviving are his wife, Betty, 2 sons, Thomas and wife Tina Rosengrant, and Christian and wife Lisa Rosengrant, 1 daughter, Heather Clark and fianc Pete Bello, 9 grandchildren, Kaitlin, Felicity, Brooke, Mariah, Tripp and Tatym Rosengrant, Ronald and Stephen Clark, and Mariana Bello, and 1 great grandson, Teagan James Francisco. Also surviving are 2 sisters in law, Mariana (Rodney) Murray and Christine Andersen, 1 brother in law, Michael (Yvonne) Andersen, several nieces and nephews, Kevin Jones, Hannah Scherer, Holly and Jeremy Murray, Heidi and Bob Mills, Jennifer Jones, Alicia Scott, and Tyler and Bubba Andersen, 1 special great nephew, Bronx, many cousins, and special friends Dick and Pat Geer. He was predeceased by 2 brothers in law, Victor and John Andersen.Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 4-7PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:30AM at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Hancock.
