Tina Appley, of Fishs Eddy NY, born July 21,1961 in Buffalo NY, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023.
Tina married Brian Appley on July 17, 1982 in Fishs Eddy NY and together they had two sons, Asa and Evan. Tina worked several years at Becton Dickinson and has been with The Hancock Community Education Foundation for the last 15 years as the Director of the After School Program.
Tina was the rock of the family and the love of our lives. She was always there to support us and anyone that needed a helping hand. The love and passion she had for the children of Hancock will never be matched nor forgotten. Her family and the Hancock Community Education Foundation were her life and driving force. There are not enough words to speak of the kindness and compassion she held in her heart for family, friends, and anyone that needed a helping hand. All who encountered her left a better person.
Those surviving to mourn her loss include her son, Asa Appley, daughter, Randi Appley, granddaughters, Kadyn Appley and Karynn Appley, step son, Michael Ricco, father in law James Appley, brothers Edward McIvor Jr (Nancy), Todd Appley (Marcia), Alan Appley, sisters Kyle Rowles, Lynn McIvor, Robin McIvor, Judy McIvor, Beth Horton (Tom), Karen Possemato (Scott), Marla Gorton (Matt) and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Tina was predeceased by her father Edward McIvor Sr., mother Beverly Lacey, stepfather Edward Lacey, husband Brian Appley, son Evan Appley, and mother in law, Altheda Appley.
A celebration in her honor will be held at the East Branch Fire Department on February 4th, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
