Vera peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father, on May 28th, 2026. Our beloved Mom, Vera Wahl, our Angel, was born on April 8th, 1935, and lived a full life of 91 years. Her parents were Ida and Ernest Schriver.

She was pre-deceased by 5 siblings: Donald, Alice, Florence, Milton, her parents, and daughter, Pamela. Mom has one Sister, Joyce who is Earth Side. She was blessed with six wonderful children: Terri (Wahl) Knorr (Wayne Knorr), Lisa (Wahl) Smith (Anthony K. Smith Jr), Laurie Wahl, Pamela (Wahl) Munz (Jeffery Munz), Richard Wahl, and David Wahl. Mom had 11 Grandkids, 24 Great Grandkids, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Our mom was very loved by her Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Aunts and Uncles. Even some lovely strangers.

She loved us dearly and made sure we had a life filled with joy and love. She took us on fishing trips, picnics, and celebrated holidays with us. Every summer, she would take us to our aunts’ houses, where we would have a blast. Despite her stubborn nature, she was the strongest person we’ve ever known. She had a passion for her plants, watching birds, and indulging in her sweet treats. Our Mom left this world with a smile on her face, and we will always miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 11AM-2PM at the American Legion Hall, Hancock, NY.
