Vernon C. Brown Sr., Walton, NY, went to be with our Lord on April 8th, 2022 with his family by his side, after a brief illness at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. Vernon was a school bus driver in his earlier years and a farmer. He married Arline Black on March 24, 1957 and resided on their farm in Readburn. Vernon farmed, logged, ran his own saw mill, and did excavating occasionally. He could log the trees out of the woods, saw the lumber, and build a house, which he has done before. Also known as the bee man, he loved working with his bees as well as teaching others about them. He was predeceased by his parents, Emily and Clyde Brown years ago and his wife, Arline, on February 27, 2011. Vernon leaves his children; son, Vernon Brown Jr and wife Lorrie (Jackson); daughter Jean Brown Poulin and husband Scott; grandchildren: William Brown (Pam), Krista Warner (Jason), Elizabeth Brown, Jennifer Poulin (Amanda), and Carly Poulin; and special friend, David Burdick. Services will be private for family. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Hancock. Arrangements by Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock.
