Vincent L. Eberlein of Millsboro, Delaware passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 peacefully at his home. He was 82 years old. Born on March 19, 1931, Vincent was the son of the late Romald and Helen Eberlein of Penn York Road, Starlight. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred, and three brothers Harding, William and Mitchell. He is survived by his sister Shirley D. Jackson and husband Ed of Ruidoso, New Mexico, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Vincent fought in the Korean War and received a Bronz medal with 5 gold stars. He loved to dance and enjoyed being outside where he took pride in his yard and flower gardens. He also was very creative and would collect discarded materials and create something new and beautiful out of it. A family member stated, "Vincent had the gift to gab and was always entertaining. He will be missed. Everyone should have an "Uncle Vinny" in their family."Funeral services were held at the Henderson Biedekapp Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 1, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Roxy Moses officiated. Interment will take place in the spring it the Balls Eddy Cemetery, Penn York Road, Winterdale, PA.
