Violet Raymond Barringer passed away from a long battle with lung cancer on March 7, 2018. Violet was born on January 2, 1961 at Read Memorial Hospital in Hancock, NY. She was a volunteer at Fishs Eddy Head Start for years and she also did foster care, daycare, and waitressed for several years. Violet is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Arnold Barringer, 11 children, Cameron, Ian, and Brett Barringer, who all live at home, Jessie Brundege, Hancock, NY, Derrick (Lacey) Brundege, Windsor, NY, Becka (Joseph) Barringer, Deposit, NY, Jessica (Greg) Macumber, Hancock, NY, Kayla (Joseph) Barringer, Hancock, NY, Marcey (Michael) Pettibone, Rochester, NY, Tammy (Kamar) Barringer, Rochester, NY, and Carrie Devilla, Endicott, NY, 17 grandchildren, Kierston, Brooke, Baylee, Zoey, Bella, Sasha, Austin, Owen, Collin, Tatiana, Jaden, Kadence, Sophia, Juliun, Lucas, Tegan, and Amir. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Dave (Karyn) Raymond, PA, and Wayne (Kari) Raymond, Deposit, NY, 13 nieces and nephews, 4 aunts, Arlene Vandermark, Joyce Smith, Patty Clapper, and Phyllis Martin, who all played a big part in Violets life, 3 uncles, Tony Smith, Dick Martin, and Dick (Ulla) Raymond, brother in law, Bill Barringer, GA, several cousins, and her fur baby, Bandit. She was predeceased by her mother and father, brother, grandparents, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. As Violet requested, cremation took place and services will be held at a later date.
