WILLIAM (BILL) LESLIE GROSCH, 79, of Mountainside Residential Care Center, Rte 28, Margaretville, NY. Bill Passed away on 6/16/2016 after a long fight with a serious illness. He was a past resident of Newark, NJ, Hancock, Deposit and Walton, NY. Bill was born July 17, 1936 in Newark, NJ, parents William Christian Grosch and Alma Marjorie Knewasser Grosch and predeceased by his parents and nephew, Ronald Christian Faille.He is survived by companion Georgene Smith & her family, Sister Carol and Ronald Faigle of Winterdale PA, Niece Alexa & Mark Gifford, Eric and Sydney Gifford Penn Yan, NY. Married on July 12, 1958 to Dorothy A. Miller (Grosch) they had three sons, Dale Grosch, David Grosch of Burlington, VT, William C. and Sokuntevy Grosch, granddaughters, Sara A. and Amara and grandson Jerry, Farmingville, NY. Bill served in the U. S. Army reserve, Phillips Appliances, Hancock, NY. Past co-owner of T+G Electric, past President of local IBEW #992, retiring as Chief Lineman from NYSEG after 30+ years of service. Owner of Grosch Electric, Bill was an exceptional carpenter, Plummer and electrician. He loved to work and his work was outstanding and well respected. Bill was proud to be a 32nd degree Mason of 52 years, a lifetime member of the NRA and Shriner.Thanks to the staff at Mountainside for the gracious and kind attention he received.
