William M. "Billy" Robbins Jr., 89, of Lakewood, PA, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at home. He was born on October 12, 1928 in Hawley, PA, the son of William M. and Mabel (Rider) Robbins. Billy was the last living original member of the Last Chance Hunting Club since its beginnings in 1953. In his younger years, he was an avid horseshoe player, fisherman, and played baseball in Equinunk, PA, as pitcher. He loved feeding all his "pets" including the deer around his home. Surviving are his sister, Verna and husband George Taylor, many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12-2 with a brief memorial service following at 2PM all at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the Northern Wayne Fire Hall, Lakewood, PA.
