William A. Weyrauch, 88, of Fishs Eddy, NY, died on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, after an illness. He was born on August 3, 1936 in Hancock, NY, the son of Carlyle A. and Hattie (Townsend) Weyrauch.

Bill was a 70+ year member of the Laborers Local Union #785. After his retirement from the union, he served a few terms as the Highway Superintendent for the Town of Hancock. He also served as councilman for the Town of Hancock for several years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, in his earlier years attending Pocono Nascar Races yearly., and he loved his classic cars. Bill also enjoyed holidays and Sunday dinners spent with his family.

Bill married Anna Ebert on January 26, 1985 and she predeceased him in 2001.

Surviving are 5 children: William Jr., James C. (Tina), Jeffrey M. (Valerie), and Step Children Yancey Brown, and Amy Brown; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; one nephew Robert and one niece Carla. Bill was predeceased by his granddaughter, Angela Weyrauch and his brother, Carlyle R. "Bob" Weyrauch.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 11AM-12PM. A celebration of life will follow at the East Branch Fire Hall, 29 Bridge St., East Branch, NY 13756, at 1PM.
