Zachary J. Possemato, 19, of Hancock, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was born on January 21, 1995 in Delhi. He was the son of Nick and Maria Possemato. Zack was a member of St. Paul's Church in Hancock, where he was an Altar Server. He participated in Boy Scouts and was a proud volunteer in the Hancock Fire Department. Zack loved being outdoors and especially loved to fish. He was very kind hearted, selfless, and caring, which was shown through his daily life, helping elderly folks in his living community, and watching out for his family and friends, something that followed through to his very last moments. Zack was truly loved and will be missed.Survived are his parents, Nick and Maria; 2 sisters, Diana Santamaria, and Jessica Possemato; his brother-in-law Joseph Santamaria; paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Charles Esolen and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 5-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. There will be a mass held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:30AM at St. Paul's Church, Hancock, with burial following in St. Paul's Cemetery, also in Hancock.Memorial donations can be made to the Hancock Fire Dept and Rescue Squad P.O.
